Venus goes direct today. The planet is currently stationed in my fifth house. I went looking around the internet to see if I had ever discussed this exact event before, and I was reminded that “Café Astrology” actually provides interpretations for Venus stations in all twelve houses. This one reads as follows:
“Stirred and circling creative urges start to take more concrete shape now, and it’s time to select those projects that have real sex appeal and drop the humdrum. Conflicting desires begin to show signs of harmony, and spontaneity becomes its own reward. The essence of choosing is the sureness of your choice, and confidence in your decisions will now begin to pick up the pace. This actually impacts on your wellness, and the better you feel, the better you are — and the more you will accomplish as a result. Take a deep breath of desire, and you’ll find it satisfies.”
I’m very pleased by this forecast for a few reasons. Today is the day that the sun and Chiron meet up in Aries, followed by the full moon in Libra. I had designated this full moon and some of the other events of this weekend (the sun/Chiron conjunction and the Saturn/north node conjunction) as a milepost on my current journey to figure out where I’m going. I told myself that I wouldn’t make any decisions about my future until after the new moon later in month because of the importance of these mid-month occurrences.
While I don’t expect most changes to happen overnight, I can already feel things changing in my world because of my recent choices. Focusing on my “wellness” instead of a misguided sense of duty to a routine that had become suffocating has allowed me to breathe again. As the passage above confirms, “the better you feel, the better you are.”
Yesterday was a weird day for me. With the moon in my twelfth house, I experienced a few brief moments of panic where I questioned my decision to leave my full-time job. I got over that this morning the moment the sun came up and entered my first house. Right now, it’s shining in my eyes and making me eager to start my day with a “deep breath of desire.”
I’m on my way . . .
