The sun enters Aquarius this morning where I live. On Tuesday morning, it will conjoin Pluto for the first time since Pluto made its final ingress into Aquarius after vacillating around the Capricorn/Aquarius cusp for several months. There will be a sense of upheaval in the air. From a personal perspective, I’m already anticipating a lot of “fuck around and find out” energy in the universe.

Personally, I don’t need to go into the details about my own professional situation except to say that if I was to find another job, my employer would be fucked. I told myself that I would make some decisions about my current job after this week.

On a more universal note, people who have voted in conservative governments beholden to the global oligarchy are going to get what’s coming to them when Donald Trump is inaugurated for the second time in the coming week. I’m not going to pretend to have any compassion for them. They are all going to get exactly what they deserve.

One thing about Pluto in Aquarius that we astrologers haven’t really discussed is the emotional distance that can accompany a planet’s ingress through the sign. I have a natal conjunction of Mars and Venus in the sign. I know what I’m talking about when I say that I can take a step back and disassociate from an issue that might normally be a cause for concern. I don’t want people to believe that I’m a prick who only cares about myself, but with this conjunction occurring in my sensitive fourth house, this is how I protect myself from emotional injury. Aquarius is a frosty sign, and Pluto is a frosty planet.

I believe that we can expect social unrest to become the norm as people attempt to take back the power they gave away while Pluto transited Capricorn. However, it’s not going to happen overnight, and it’s not going to happen without a lot of collateral damage. For someone like me, I’ll probably be okay. For someone in a red state who voted for Donald Trump because they thought that he had their back, welcome to the “fuck around and find out” phase of your life. You’ve got eighteen more years of this ahead of you . . .
