Star Struck Style

Today’s full moon occurs just seven minutes into my tenth house shortly after the sun has entered my fourth house. For that reason, I’ve taken the time to write the Premier of Alberta, the province where I live, to tell her that she’s an embarrassment to me and my fellow Albertans for traveling to Mar-a-Lago to meet with Donald Trump.

With this current alignment of planets, I believe that the phrase “think globally, act locally” sums up exactly where I can exert the most power in my own universe. People might think I’m crazy for believing that I have any power at all, but just last week I spoke to my own MLA in person. Local politics are still local politics, and this is definitely where I will have some influence. On that note, this province is full of Syrian and Ukrainian refugees that I deal with every day at my place of work. They all loathe Russia and the Russian propaganda that people like Tucker Carlson promote. Not too long ago, Danielle Smith invited Tucker Carlson to this province. It is in my power to point that out to anyone in my orbit. Most of these refugees will be voters in our local elections very soon.

So, even though I’m going to be sticking close to home for a while, the stars have other plans for me. This is just the beginning of a new hobby for a guy like me with too much free time on his hands . . .
