Yesterday, I mentioned to my older sister that I wasn’t planning to visit Las Vegas again until well after Donald Trump’s inauguration. I’m worried about my own safety. I don’t believe that anyone has ever planned a fascist takeover of a county where there are literally more guns than people. Once the corrupt Kakistocracy Trump has assembled gets into power, the idiots that voted for him are going to enter the “fuck around and find out” era that Pluto’s transit through Capricorn has promised them. What they do next scares the hell out of me.
However, Pluto exited Capricorn earlier this week, and people are starting to open their eyes to who they have elected as a bunch of corrupt billionaires are being appointed to cabinet positions. It’s going to take a while for them to loot the treasury, but by the time the Fourth of July rolls around, the MAGA crowd should start to realize exactly what they’ve done to both themselves and their fellow citizens.
The reason I mention that date is that Saturn and Neptune will both be parked in the sky just a couple of degrees into Aries. This will be the first near-meeting of these two planets as they dance around the Pisces/Aries cusp. The actual conjunction between the two heavenly bodies will occur in February of 2026.
The last time these two planets met was 1989: the year of the Tiananmen Square massacre, the fall of the Berlin Wall and the end of communism in Eastern Europe. Before that, they met up in 1953: the year that Stalin died, Queen Elizabeth II was crowned, Tito became President of Yugoslavia, a coup occurred in Iran, and the Korean War ended. Prior to that, they met in 1917 during World War I. When Saturn and Pisces meet, the ground seems to shift right under our feet. In Aries, these shifts will be abrupt, aggressive and often accompanied by force.
I’m expecting Pluto’s ingress into Aquarius to move the balance of power back into the hands of the collective. Unfortunately, things like that take time — especially with Pluto involved — and they rarely occur without some bloodshed. My concern is not only the number of guns in the USA, but terrorism itself. What’s going to happen when mass deportations begin? What’s going to happen when Israel is given carte blanche authority to do whatever it wants in Palestine? What’s going to happen when Russia is allowed to do, in the words of Donald Trump, “whatever the hell they want” in Ukraine and any other countries on its border? People are going to be angry and vindictive, and many of them are going to be placing the blame on the country that deserves much of the blame. I don’t want to be anywhere near America when that happens. What’s more, many economists are warning that the global debt market is massively over-leveraged. 1989 saw a significant stock market collapse.
So, I’m going to be sticking close to home for a while. I suggest that you do the same, especially around the Fourth of July when the lunatics will be eager to make a spectacle of themselves in the so-called “Land of the Free.” The tension between the current establishment and the people who want to burn it all down will be palpable for the next few years. On the bright side, these meetings between Saturn and Neptune often precede a course correction that welcomes a more stable era.
I hope I’m right about that last part. Only time will tell . . .
