Transiting Mercury is about to enter my third house. However, its upcoming retrograde cycle will see it return to my second house for much of December. That’s okay with me. The cacophony of the Christmas season is too much as it is without having a pile-up of planets in my third house.
As I’ve mentioned a million times before on this blog, I’m a big fan of this layout: Mercury far behind the sun and Venus far ahead of the sun. I seem to be at my best when these planets are stretched out across the sky like they were on the day that I was born.
Anyway, I’m encouraged by this ingress and what it promises. I’m feeling communicative and eager to get out into the world. I even joined Bluesky yesterday: another social media platform. I’m enjoying being on Threads since I left Twitter, but I’m going to have a hard time putting any money into the pockets of Meta owner Mark Zuckerberg after the American election.
So, I’ll see how this goes. I do get easily distracted when Mercury moves through this part of my chart, but I’m also the sort of person who can juggle countless balls all at once. Also, I’m in the mood for the “intellectual detachment” the “Café Astrology” horoscope in the link above promises me. Whatever makes me think of anything besides Donald Trump is a welcome change. If I never had to hear that name again . . .
