Star Struck Style

With the American election less than a week away, I’m happy to notice that many small victories are being won all around the world. I’ve been predicting that Pluto’s last stand in Capricorn would be a reset for the common good, even if it seemed to be the opposite more often than not.

I don’t want to become overconfident because Americans have a special way of shooting themselves in the foot no matter how often the universe provides for them in abundance. Still, all the signs are pointing toward a Karmic, career-ending loss for former President Trump — even if it takes a few days to actually tabulate the results of the election.

Friday’s new moon in Scorpio offers us a chance to take a look at Karma itself and ask ourselves as a collective “What do we deserve?” With Saturn nearly stationary in the sky in Pisces and Pluto about to exit Capricorn once and for all in our lifetimes, we all want to consider the causes to which we lend our time and effort. Does aspiring to something better mean leaving others behind? Do we only succeed when others fail? Is everything in the world that black and white?

Ask yourselves those questions this Friday, and then try to move into a new phase where not everything you do is a zero-sum game. Remember that what comes around, goes around, and that the wheel of Karma will keep spinning long after you and I are gone. Leaving the world a better place than when you arrived might not make this lifetime any better materially for you, but who knows what happens when we leave. So, get on the right side of fate this November, and don’t forget to celebrate the small victories along the way with the like-minded people who also choose to make the world a better place. You deserve it!
