My day did not go as planned yesterday. Late Monday night, I got a message that one of my employees had an allergic reaction and was headed to the emergency room at the hospital. So, I had to change my plans so that I could open the facility where we work. That meant I got about four hours of sleep. I woke up right around the time that transiting Mars was opposing my natal sun.

I had promised myself that I wouldn’t let anything bother me. I was able to keep that promise. I went to work, did what I needed to do to ensure that everything was running smoothly, and then I took the rest of the day off. I came back home and had a nice, long nap. I could have been frustrated and I could have been angry, but I didn’t want anything to get to me. I need to make it to Sunday with nothing on my mind besides my upcoming trip to Las Vegas.

Today is a different sort of day. I’ve got nothing but good things happening in my horoscope. Transiting Venus is forming a trine to my natal Saturn, transiting Mercury is forming a trine to my natal Venus, the transiting sun is forming a trine to my natal Mars, the moon just moved into my first house and Venus will move into my second house this afternoon. All these aspects are happening on the heels of a new moon and an eclipse in my twelfth house — a powerful time for me to shut out the noise and to focus upon the imminent ingress of the sun into my first house. My favorite time of year is almost here!

I do have plans today, including catching up on some housework and packing for my trip. Other than that, I don’t really have anything on my agenda that has the potential to be bothersome. I want to keep it that way. At the moment, the universe appears to be cooperating . . .
