With Venus traveling well ahead of the sun at the moment, good things are on the horizon for me. For instance, Venus will form a trine to my natal Venus tomorrow. In a few days from now, Venus will conjoin my ascendant. In a week from that annual event, Venus will form a trine with my natal Jupiter just after it forms a trine with transiting Jupiter and another trine with my progressed Jupiter. Then a few days after that, Venus forms a sextile with my natal Mercury.

This cavalcade of positive alignments should put me in a good mood. I’ve been mostly positive lately (I try to focus on the good things happening in my horoscope), but the hot weather has me feeling grouchy every time I have to leave my house.

However, Venus can be a bit of a double-edged sword for someone like me. I am the opposite of a procrastinator with my Capricorn sun and Cancer moon: I’m practical and I keep one on the past and one eye on the future. But with my Libra ascendant, I can be convinced to take the easy way out when Venus is whispering sweet nothings in my ear. I suspect that is going to be happening over the next couple of weeks while Venus continues its annual journey through Libra.

I’m going to try my best to not allow that to happen. It’s so much easier for me to demonstrate my talent for multitasking when the weather is cooperating with me. The astrological forecast looks terrific, but it’s the actual weather forecast that has me excited this Venus season. Cool weather is like a shot in my arm; the energy I feel in autumn is unparalleled. Never mind the fact that the swift-moving planets typically move through my first house this time of year. The first few frosty mornings in fall get my blood pumping.

So, I’m going to be sure to take advantage of this seasonal shift, and I’m not going to allow Venus to convince me that sitting on my ass is an acceptable response to these upcoming events. I’ve already done enough of that over the past couple of months to last a lifetime.
