Venus enters Libra this morning where it will remain until September 22.

This is one of my favorite ingresses. I have Libra for a rising sign, so when the ruler of my ascendant transits its own sign, I feel as if everything is right in my own world. What’s more, Venus forms trines to both my natal Mars and my natal Venus in Aquarius during this transit, and then it forms a trine to my natal Jupiter in Gemini before it leaves the sign. I’m generally fortunate while these alignments are occurring. I’m also quite happy with myself. I’m often at my leanest in September and October. It’s easy for me to be active once the weather starts to cool down, and that makes it easier for me to slim down.

On that note, it’s funny that when I searched for “Libra” while looking for an image to illustrate this post, this photo of a weigh scale came up. Perhaps the universe is trying to tell me something. Hmm . . .

But I digress! Venus will still be transiting my twelfth house for a couple of weeks. For that reason, I’m going to try to keep my thoughts to myself a little more than I did while the planet was transiting the sign of Virgo and my eleventh house. It might be time to be a little less critical of whatever is going on around me now that Venus is in my “privacy sector,” as it is called on “Café Astrology.”

How does this annual ingress affect you? Do you look forward to it like I do? Let me know in the comments section. I’d love to hear from you.
