Star Struck Style

Mars conjoins my natal Jupiter today. While neither of these planets are personalized in my horoscope, that doesn’t mean that I don’t feel their influence when they get together like this. I am feeling good this morning, as this interpretation of the transit from “Café Astrology” would indicate:

“You are likely to feel especially energized and enthusiastic about what you believe in or regarding business ventures. The desire to do something about your beliefs or ideals is strong now, or you are in a position to stand up for your beliefs. Your sense of timing is excellent, all things considered. You more readily take chances, and you feel especially strong, positive, adventurous, confident, and energetic. You are looking to expand something right now — the bigger the better. You are competitive in a friendly manner, and you readily rise to a challenge now. You tend to do things in a big way. You may need to avoid the traps of overconfidence, arrogance, haste, or taking on too much.”

I guess that I should be relieved that I’m not at work today where my big, overconfident mouth could get me into trouble. No one has ever accused me of being a “yes man” around my superiors, and I’m often glad to tell them when I think they are full of shit. I’ve been able to get away with that for as long as I’ve been working because I’ve always backed up my words with an impeccable performance. I’ve earned the right to be an overconfident pain in the ass.

Nevertheless, I don’t feel like fighting with anyone right now. And when I do have to go back to work, I’ll be feeling the effects of Venus’ imminent ingress into my twelfth house tomorrow afternoon. Venus is personalized in my horoscope as it is the ruler of my Libra ascendant. This transit is likely to make me take a step back from any sort of confrontation that I might otherwise engage in. It won’t be difficult for me to keep my ego in check.

So, I’m going to try to keep to myself today while I wait for Mars to move out of orb from this aspect with my natal Jupiter. With next to nothing on my agenda today, my “timing is excellent,” as the passage above has predicted. I can fight for what’s right another day.
