Star Struck Style

Transiting Jupiter in not forming a square to my natal Venus today, like it was last summer when I published this post. Instead, transiting Venus is forming a square to my natal Jupiter. Curiously, my astro.com computer-generated horoscope offered my the following warning:

“Do not buy anything unnecessary, unless you have some surplus cash. There is a tendency to buy expensive things, especially jewelry, fine clothes and art objects.”

Of course, I needed a second opinion, so I went to “Café Astrology” where I read this:

“This is a time when you could take great strides to get noticed. Avoid impulsive buying.”

Okay, okay — I get it. I was already excited because I get to work today in my own clothes and not the hideous uniform my employer provides me. I was even thinking about going out after my very early shift because I’ll be wearing my fabulous Eton of Sweden fish shirt and my brand new olive-colored Levi’s. I’m going to be looking so good. Or at least I think I’ll be looking good. Hmm . . .

Anyway, Venus is moving swiftly through the sky right now, and I’m working hard on trying to not spend any more money before my trip, so I think I’ll just go home after work and have a nap. I have just over six weeks until I go to Las Vegas, and just three paydays to stash away some spending money and pay off some bills. The last thing I need right now is something I can’t really afford. The universe has spoken!
