Jupiter entered my ninth house just a moment ago. As the planet goes retrograde in a couple of months from now, this is just a four-month preview of what’s to come.

Nevertheless, I’m optimistic about what this transit will bring. The last time this happened to me, I made a lateral move at my place of work that ended up being both lucrative and satisfying from a personal perspective. It marked a time in my life when I took a chance that paid off. The previous cycle was even more thrilling. Opportunities virtually began falling into my lap. For once in my life I felt as if my hard work was being rewarded.

I’m eager to feel that way again. Yesterday at work, I literally held the place together while everything was ready to fall apart. I left feeling good about what I did rather than stressed out over what happened.

I hope that this shift in my attitude is something that I will carry forward during this transit. I’d like to look on the bright side of things for a change. I’m not a negative person, but I can be deeply affected by having negative, pessimistic people in my environment. With my Cancer moon and Saturn in Pisces, I can suck up their cynicism like a sponge.

On the topic of those planets, once Jupiter reenters my ninth house in 2025, it will not only conjoin my natal ninth-house Jupiter in May, but it will also conjoin my natal moon in June, form a trine with my natal Saturn in August, and then it will park itself near my midheaven later in the year. I have many reasons to be optimistic. While I often complain that Jupiter’s promises are full of hot air, it’s the alignments I mentioned that have lived up to the hype in the past. If I had to pick two years over the past few decades that have been consequential for me, 2001 and 2013 are those two years. Both correspond exactly with Jupiter’s transit through this part of my chart. Even before that, 1989 was an especially rewarding time in my life. When I get nostalgic for music and fashion, there is no other time that makes me feel as if I was in my prime than that particular era.

Have any of you ever looked into this phenomenon? Does Jupiter have significance in your chart like it does in mine? Let me know in the comments section or on one of my social media pages.
