I’m going back to Las Vegas in 102 days. I haven’t been behaving myself like I should have been since I got back from my last trip, so it’s time that I started trying to exercise some self-discipline. That involves both saving some money and taking better care of myself in general.
I visited a physiotherapist yesterday to get to the bottom of some discomfort I’ve been experiencing in my right shoulder. I also had an eye appointment that went very well: my prescription has barely changed over the past two years. Despite my focus on self-improvement in this part of my life, I haven’t exactly been working too hard to improve many other parts. I’ve been lazy and rather unmotivated for a couple of months.
Hopefully, that’s all about to change now that a procession of planets is moving toward my midheaven. Mercury reaches the top of my chart this weekend, followed by Venus a week later. Soon after that, the sun will join those two planets in my tenth house. As a Capricorn, having a bunch of planets in my tenth house can make me feel like I’m “at home.” I don’t need to convince myself to be the self-disciplined overachiever that I was born to be; it just happens.
However, those are not the only planets that are on the move in my chart. Mars leaves my lazy, luxury-loving, Libra-ruled seventh house this evening. Over the next few weeks, the red planet will form conjunctions with both Uranus and Jupiter. As well, it’s moving into a sextile with my natal Saturn this morning, making this a good day to tell myself that I’m ready to take on this new project. Soon afterwards, it forms a trine with my natal sun, and shortly after that it moves into favorable aspects with my natal Pluto, Chiron and Uranus.
So, I’ve got some positive planetary movements on the horizon. With the eighth house and the tenth house coming becoming emphasized in my horoscope, I need to capitalize on those changes. In 102 days from now, I want to be in a better place both physically and financially, so that when I go to Las Vegas I can feel as if I’ve earned myself that reward. With the stars on my side, I hope I will be.
I guess I’ll find out soon enough . . .
