Hot Air Balloons (source: pexels.com)

Both the sun and Mercury conjoin my natal Jupiter tomorrow. Venus just did the same. For that reason, I thought that I might see some terrific opportunities appear out of thin air this week. So far, not much has happened.

I know that the week is not over, but typically this is how beneficial Jupiter aspects seem to affect me. Once in a while, I’m amazed by their abundance, but mostly I’m disappointed when they come and go with little to no fanfare.

Jupiter’s promises can often be full of hot air — at least for me. The planet is in a unique position in my horoscope: not only in it’s detriment in Gemini but also positioned in the house over which it rules, and in mutual reception to Mercury in Sagittarius. For what it’s worth, it was also retrograde when I was born. That’s a lot to take in, and part of the reason why I am often puzzled by the way the planet behaves in my in chart.

Perhaps things will change for me when the gaseous giant enters my ninth house in early August. It then stations almost on top of my progressed Jupiter in October while I’m in Las Vegas. That’s got to be good, right? For now, though, I’m going to keep my eyes open for any opportunities that might arise over the next couple of days. Maybe this isn’t over just yet.

I guess I’ll find out soon enough . . .
