Vacation (source: pexels.com)

I’m on vacation this week. I’m not going anywhere. I just like to take a week off this time of year to tend to my garden. It’s finally warm enough in this part of the world to clean up the flower beds and plant annual flowers.

Other than that, I don’t really have any special plans. I’m going to try to relax, decompress and do whatever it takes to avoid stress. I haven’t been behaving myself lately and I’d like to get to the bottom of whatever it is that has me seeking out the coping mechanisms that get me into trouble.

Anyway, I’ve got a whole week to figure things out. Next week, the new moon arrives just as the sun, Venus and the moon step over the threshold of my ninth house. This introspective phase I’m in will quickly come to an end as these planets enter a much more “out-there” sector of my horoscope. A few other interesting developments occur just after the arrival of the new moon, as well. Mercury joins the aforementioned planets in my ninth house in the second week of June, followed by Mars’ conjunction with my part of fortune in the final degree of Aries, and Jupiter’s conjunction with my north node in Gemini. That’s a lot to process!

In the meantime, I’m going to get out into my garden and try to get my head into a place where I don’t feel as if the universe owes me something. All these planets in my eighth house have me feeling as if I deserve some kind of Karmic break, and it’s exhausting for me to keep pondering the nature of luck. I just need to make the most of what I already have. That was my new year’s resolution this year, and I’ve got off track since I made that resolution.

So, that’s what I’m going to do. I already feel more relaxed just thinking about it . . .
