Star Struck Style

I spend a lot of time making fun of Gemini natives because so many of them are horrible. Still, there are a few Geminis that I like, including Kylie Minogue. I can’t believe that she’s going to turn fifty-six years old in a couple of weeks. She’s almost as old as me!

Three days before her birthday, on May 25, Jupiter will enter Gemini where it will remain for just over a year. Jupiter was in Gemini when I was born. Professionally-speaking, I have had tremendous luck when Jupiter is transiting the sign. I got my first major magazine gig with “Harper’s Bazaar” when Jupiter was in Gemini in 2001. When my writing career waned a few years later, I moved into retail sales. The next time Jupiter transited the sign, in 2012 and 2013, I was making far more money than I ever thought I would in a commission job.

These opportunities didn’t just arrive like a bolt from the blue. I had truly put in the work so that I was prepared to take them on when they presented themselves. I feel like I’m in a similar position today. I’ve spent the last year really figuring out how to make myself as valuable as possible to my employer. Now I’m ready to be rewarded for my efforts.

Jupiter won’t actually conjoin my natal Jupiter until this time next year. However, my progressed Jupiter in Gemini sits just two degrees ahead of my natal Jupiter on the same degree where Jupiter will station in October. It also vacillates between my Placidus eighth and ninth houses while it transits Gemini. I’ll probably take a deeper dive into its ingress into my ninth house when that event occurs this coming August.

In the meantime, I’m going to keep my eyes open for any opportunities that may come my way. The one thing that this stalwart Capricorn can learn from those flighty Gemini individuals that he admires is that being adaptable when the time is right is just as important as being the rock that everyone relies upon when the world goes crazy. I can be both of those people.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to put on a Kylie Minogue song while I prepare for this new phase of my life . . .
