Star Struck Style

The current stellium that has formed in Taurus completely occupies my eighth house. For that reason, I’ve got a few eighth house matters on my mind. However, none of them is as prominent as the notion of Karma. I feel as if something good should happen to me.

This weekend, the sun catches up with Jupiter. Venus does the same a few days later. I’m going to keep my eyes open for opportunities (as one should do when Jupiter is harmoniously aligned with these other planets), but I’m also going to consider pushing my luck.

Some people might read something like this and wonder why I believe that a Karmic alignment would affect me in a positive manner, but I know how I’ve lived my life. I consider myself to be lucky all the time, but as for the figurative “Bank of Karma,” I figure I’ve deposited more than I’ve withdrawn.

In some of the Vedic astrology that I’ve read, the eighth house is often associated with bad Karma. In Western astrology, many people dwell upon its association with sex, death and transformation. I’ve always interpreted it as a place of inevitabilities and the idea that what goes around, comes around. For that reason, I’d like to see some good fortune come around.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to buy some lottery tickets . . .
