Star Struck Style

“Attracting Money” is the title of my computer-generated horoscope on astro.com today. It refers to Venus’ transit of my eighth house, which occurs from May 9 to June 5. The complete prediction reads as follows:

“This influence can have several effects, often quite subtle. It can stimulate the sexual side of existing relationships and give love relationships a greater intensity. This is because sex goes beyond the physical act and becomes a vehicle for self-transformation and inward change. A love relationship that begins under this influence will be intense throughout its duration and will have a greater impact, for better or worse, on your life than other relationships. This influence may attract money to you through your partner, a business partner or through a bank or other public financial institution, without any special effort on your part. Obviously, this is a good time to seek a loan or other financial support.”

I would be delighted to attract some money right now, but the latter part of this transit looks a lot luckier to me. The sun and Venus will be travelling hand-in-hand during the first week of June, forming simultaneous trines to my natal Mars and my natal Venus. Shortly after that, both planets will conjoin my natal Jupiter within a couple of days of each other. It sounds like a great time to win the lottery, right?

Nevertheless, I believe that I might make an appointment with my bank in the last week of the month since the stars are urging me to “seek a loan or other financial support.” I could reorganize my credit card debt and save myself a bunch of money. I’m on vacation that week, anyway, and it might be nice to have a reason to get out and about.
