Star Struck Style

Venus conjoins Saturn in the sky today. It also conjoins my natal Saturn because I am in the midst of my second Saturn return. What’s more, Venus and Saturn are parallel today, too.

As a Capricorn with Libra rising, these are the two most important planets in my horoscope, so I ought to pay attention to whatever it is that they are trying to tell me. What I seem to be hearing is that the reality check of my Saturn return isn’t such a bad thing. While nothing would make me happier right now than escaping my responsibilities, I’ve only got nine more shifts to go before my vacation. If I can just plod through this, everything will be all right.

Thankfully, I have the day off from work. While I have a million things to do, I also have the entire day to get them done. What’s more, I have the time to put some thought into where I’m headed in the immediate future (besides Las Vegas, that is).

So, that’s what I’m going to do. In the painting I chose to illustrate this event, Venus is conquering Saturn. Maybe I just need to give into the Venusian side of my nature for the moment and try to be kind to myself. The Saturnian stuff is going to be there tomorrow, and the next day, and the day after that. If I take a day or two to “stop and smell the roses,” I’ve got another three decades to make up for it, right Venus?

I sure hope so . . .
