Star Struck Style

Waking up with Venus in Pisces in my fifth house has made me painfully aware of exactly how many more times I have to go to work before my vacation begins. I am scheduled for sixteen shifts.

I shouldn’t be so eager to get away from my job, but with Saturn in my fifth house, it’s felt like all work and no play lately. To be honest, that’s a choice I’ve made so that I can take a pile of money to Las Vegas and really live it up. I’m sure that the French Toast at Sadelle’s in the Bellagio is as delicious as it is expensive — not to mention high in calories.

Having both Venus and Saturn transiting my fifth house at the same time will be interesting, as Venus is the ruler of my Libra ascendant and Saturn is the ruler of my Capricorn sun. What I might need to do to make the next few weeks bearable is to make my place of work somewhere that I enjoy being. I can work hard to avoid being a grouchy taskmaster while I’m there. That’s not really my modus operandi, but I can lapse into phases of Saturnine seriousness.

So, I’m going to try to be a little more Venusian — at least for another sixteen shifts. It’s time to turn on the charm. I want people to look at me the way that I look at the French toast in the photo above.

That will make the time go faster, right?
