My next trip to Las Vegas is only fifty days away. It’s all I can think about!
It’s been five years since I’ve visited Sin City in the springtime. I’m not sure that I’ve been there in April before, but it’s a terrific time of year to go. The weather isn’t too hot, and for a Canadian like me, it’s just hot enough.
In the meantime, I am going to try to behave myself. My energy levels are good. My injuries from my fall in December are mostly just a memory. I haven’t been spending money like an idiot. I’m in a place where my self-discipline might get me somewhere.
On that note, the sun is about to move into my fifth house where it will join Saturn. Saturn, the planet of discipline, hasn’t exactly been inhibiting my creativity since it entered that part of my chart. However, it has made me reconsider how little time I’ve been able to put into creative projects over the past few years. I’m feeling the need to express myself again. Recent changes in my living arrangements could facilitate that need.
Curiously, the sun is about to meet Saturn in my fifth house on the last day of the month, just a couple of degrees away from where my natal Saturn resides. On the same day, Neptune exits my fifth house for good. It’s going to be an interesting time for me. It makes me wonder if I’m going to experience a change in the way that I approach my creative sidelines. Will the distractions that have kept me from writing for the past few years finally disappear?
I hope so. Until that happens, though, I will continue to be distracted by my upcoming trip and all the things I need to do in order to enjoy it, like losing a couple of pounds and saving a few dollars. I may have to wait a while to write another book . . .
