Star Struck Style

Just a moment ago, I searched Pexels for a photo to illustrate this post using the word “calm.” This is what I came up with. The funny thing is that I have a watercolor print on the wall right above my computer desk that is strangely similar to this, I face it when I do yoga and I often get lost just staring into it. It calms me down.

Anyway, Venus is sitting right on top of my IC at the moment. It enters my fourth house in about four hours from now. “Café Astrology” describes the annual transit as follows:

“During this cycle, you are especially fond of the life of the home and family. You are more receptive and gentle on a romantic level, and tend to be sentimental or nostalgic now. You may particularly value the aesthetics in and around your home during this period. If things are out of whack on the home front, you will do whatever you can to create a peaceful and stable atmosphere. Loyalty and sensitivity in your relationships are more important to you than typically. You might focus on ways to earn money in or from your home. This is a calming influence — a time when simple pleasures most appeal.”

I feel as if I’m already there! I have to teach a class at the gym later this morning, but I’d rather just tune out at home. If it was summer, I would consider walking over to the duck-filled pond by my house to stare off into the distance. I guess it doesn’t help that the moon is in Pisces today, too. The urge to escape into the netherworld of my imagination is overwhelming at the moment.

I am looking forward to Venus joining the sun, Mercury, Mars and Pluto in this part of my chart because it should make me more easygoing when I am at home. Half-finished projects and other repairs shouldn’t seem so urgent. Venus will also form a bunch of harmonious aspects to my natal planets and points while it transits my fourth house. It’s a nice time of year for me, but it could be even nicer.

So, for the next month or so, I’m going to take the advice of the forecast I posted above and work “to create a peaceful and stable atmosphere” around my home and in my life in general.

It felt good just typing that. The universe is pointing me in the right direction . . .
