Ingredients (source: pexels.com)

I was just looking at my chart for the upcoming month and it reminded me of staring into a fridge full of food while having no idea what to make of it.

I’ve got conjunctions galore on the horizon because the sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars are all transiting the heavily-populated bottom of my natal chart where all those planets reside. At the same time, I’ve got some rather fortunate alignments between some of the outer planets and other natal planets and points.

It’s almost an embarrassment of riches! However, I’m going to have to take things one day at a time. Like a fridge full of food, if I get too far ahead of myself by overplanning, I’ll likely neglect a few of these prime ingredients. I don’t want to do that. I want to be able to use everything at my disposal. I’d be happy to know that I didn’t waste a single thing while the stars are on my side.

In the past, I’ve complained when I’ve had too many planets transiting this part of my chart. This time, it’s just the swift-moving planets that are cruising through my fourth house (with the exception of Pluto which will be there for the next two decades). It feels different this time with no major retrogrades on the horizon and the upcoming ingresses of Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune into the houses they briefly inhabited before their retrograde cycles began last year.

The cooking analogy seems even more apropos because everything seems “fresh” to me right now. If I just concentrate on what is right in front of me, I’ll probably be able to “make the most of what I already have.” Incidentally, that was my new year’s resolution.

So, that’s where I’m headed this February with this bounty of good things right in front of me. Waste not, want not . . .
