I published this post a few weeks ago because I was curious if anyone could provide me any insight regarding the connection between the asteroid Chiron and the practice of medical astrology. While no one has reached out to point me in the right direction, I have poked around the internet to see if I could find any resources that could explain why I have experienced a rather serious injury while stationary Chiron was in an almost-exact square with my natal sun.
I didn’t find much because almost every article I ran across talked about figurative wounds rather than literal wounds. Still, I’m going to keep looking for anyone else who might be discussing an actual physical manifestation of this uncommon alignment (I’ll experience it again from the other side of my chart in about twenty-five years from now).
Regardless of what I might find, I would like to announce that I feel as if I’m on-the-mend. I was able to do a yoga class yesterday that didn’t exacerbate any of my sore spots, and I’m going to try to get back into my old weightlifting habits later this weekend. I feel as if I can resume my routine without fear of reinjuring myself. I haven’t exactly been inactive since I fell, but I have been avoiding a lot of the activities that make me feel as if I’m defying the effects of my advanced age — something that means the world to me.
If anyone does happen to stumble across this post with information to share regarding Chiron and its connection to physical injuries, please feel free to start a discussion in the comments section. I would love to hear from you.
