Once I’m finished my shift on Saturday, I’ve got a week off from work. I’m looking forward to this earned time off, even though I’m not going on a vacation. I could use a little time to myself just to “tune out” for few days.
Still, I am sort of interested to see if anything interesting happens in the world this weekend. The sun meets up with Pluto just before Pluto makes its second-last shift from Capricorn to Aquarius. It moves back into Capricorn in mid-July before it makes its final ingress into Aquarius in mid-November. It won’t return to this cusp for another 248 years.
The cusp of Aquarius has been highlighted by a couple of significant astrological events over the last few years, including the Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn. That’s why I have my eye on this particular event. Saturday should be a fateful day — a virtual glimpse into the future — even if the events that occur don’t seem so noteworthy at the time. When Pluto crosses over this degree of the zodiac again in July and November, however, many of us will be saying “we should have seen this coming” as past becomes present.
I wish that I knew what to expect. Whatever happens, I’ll have a little extra time to wonder just what it all means. It’s going to be nice just to take a week off to do whatever I want to do. Perhaps I’ll be able to take a deeper dive into all of this once I get a sense of what’s going on. Or maybe I’ll just spend my week off doing nothing special.
I guess I’ll find out soon enough . . .
