Partnership (source: pexels.com)

I just realized that the transiting north node is about to exit my seventh house and enter my sixth house. That means that in about four weeks from today, it will oppose my ascendant. The website 12andus.com describes the uncommon alignment as follows:

“Powerful Karmic lessons are delivered through partnerships.

Whether business partnerships or romantic, you are looking in the mirror when facing others and as your transition to greater self awareness unfolds, you are likely to be uncomfortable with the reflection you see through those around you.

You may have to learn greater lessons regarding unconditional love, cooperation and collaboration. You may not be as receptive to the advice of others as you could be.

You may lose yourself in relationships as you are not yet adept at maintaining healthy boundaries. Those lessons are developing through experiences at this time.”

I haven’t been convinced of the efficacy of using the nodes in transit as a predictive tool. Nevertheless, I’m willing to keep an open mind regarding the ingress of this point into a part of my chart that is currently being highlighted through secondary progressions: both my progressed Mercury and Mars have moved into my sixth house over the past several months.

Anyway, I’m going to pay attention to this prediction to see if I can glean any wisdom from this event. The last time it happened, I was virtually at rock bottom as far as my career prospects were concerned. Not long after that, however, it was all uphill for the next decade or so. Perhaps I’m in a similar place again. Maybe I’m about to climb a new mountain and I don’t even realize that the expedition is about to begin.

I guess I’ll find out soon enough . . .
