Mars enters Capricorn two days from now. It will remain in the sign until the middle of February.
I’m looking forward to the ingress. I need a cosmic kick in the ass. I spent much of summer and fall feeling remarkably lazy and uninspired this past year. Just recently, I’ve been feeling more energetic, but other issues with my health have kept me from kicking up my heels like the goat in the photo I posted above. Two days ago, I published a post about how Chiron’s square to my natal sun has been impacting my physical wellbeing. As that aspect moves out of orb, perhaps I’ll feel the burst of energy that having Mars transiting my sun sign should promise.
Most of this transit will occur in my third house where there currently is a pile-up of planets. However, I am a third-house creature who thrives on having a lot of things to do. I have a remarkable talent for juggling a lot of projects all at once. Feeling as if I have the physical energy to do that is half the battle, so I’m thrilled to know that Mars can help me with that. Mercury has started moving forward again in my third house, as well, so maybe I can expect my mental energy to match. What’s more, the two planets conjoin my natal sun simultaneously later this month when I have a week off from work. I might actually be able to channel these positive developments into something that makes me feel good about myself. There may be a new creative project in my stars. It’s been a long time since I’ve been I’ve wanted to write anything . . .
Anyway, it’s an encouraging forecast for a goat like me. On a day like today, when many people are struggling to get back to work after a week off, I feel like I’ve already got one foot out the door. Once Mars moves into my sign, I’m pretty sure that I’ll hit the ground running.
2024 is already off to a good start!
