Respite (source: pexels.com)

“A Pleasant Respite” is the title of my horoscope on astro.com tomorrow. It describes the upcoming trine transiting Venus will form to my natal Jupiter mid-week. The aspect is described as follows:

“This influence brings grace, ease and pleasant social interaction into your life. It can also bring laziness and self-indulgence, but only if you are likely to be that way anyway. For most people this influence will be a pleasant respite from the daily grind. You just feel content, and your contentment affects others favorably, so that everyone around you today will be in good spirits. This is an excellent time for all social occasions, amusements and entertainments. You may meet someone who will be of great service to you later. This influence often benefits financial interests. It is a good day to make a major investment, particularly in entertainment, leisure activities or the arts. This is also a good time to begin a vacation trip.”

I wish that I was starting a vacation, but that isn’t going to happen. Nevertheless, I have some time off midweek because of some overtime I’ve accumulated. Between that, and the fact that I’m still home alone for another few days, it almost feels as if I’m on vacation. This last week has been “a pleasant respite” with all the time I’ve been able to spend by myself. In fact, I’m also craving “social interaction” now that I’ve had the chance to be alone with my thoughts. This episode has reminded me that I’m definitely a textbook example of a Venusian/Libra rising personality. I constantly seek out balance in my life, and I tend to take it personally when the obliviousness of other individuals in my orbit throws me off-balance.

Anyway, I’m going to resolve to enjoy myself over the next few days, whether that means just practicing some self-care or finding a way to indulge myself. I feel as if I’m ready to just take things as they come, so I’m not going to bother making plans just yet. Like the guy in the photo I posted above, I’m just going to take it all in whenever the opportunity presents itself.
