Well, I didn’t buy this leather coat. However, I did buy one that was on sale for one-third of the price of the one in the photo. It was a far more practical choice, as the one pictured above doesn’t have pockets or a waistband. I suppose that it is meant to be more of an overshirt rather than a jacket. I could see a hundred country music stars wearing it, though. It was even more beautiful in person than it was in the photo.
Anyway, now that the new moon in Scorpio has arrived, I’m going to work on the resolution that I declared when I first discussed this annual astrological event. I’ve got so many beautiful things in my closet that I really don’t need any more for a while. I only have one big purchase to make between now and the end-of-the-year sale season, and that’s my airfare to Las Vegas for my vacation in April. Other than that, I don’t need anything.
So, I’m going to work hard on getting my shit together financially. With this new moon happening on the same day that both the sun and moon conjoin my natal Neptune, I could be dreaming. Still, sometimes dreams do come true. I’d love to be debt-free in the not-too-distant future. That’s only going to happen if I stop spending all money on clothes that I don’t really need. Maybe in a year from now when I revisit this post I’ll be able to congratulate myself for a job well done. Stranger things have happened . . .
