Star Struck Style

Well, I got back from Las Vegas two weeks ago and I’ve already booked another trip. I did the same thing last year on the first day of November because that was the day that MGM Rewards made me an offer I couldn’t refuse.

Anyway, I’ve booked the Bellagio next April. I’ll be staying in the Spa Tower toward the back of the property. I booked a room there because the entire tower just finished a complete renovation. It’s also got an elevator lobby that is a short distance from the newly-completed walkway to the Vdara where there is a Starbucks that barely no one knows about. I like to get up early to get a coffee, and I don’t like standing in line for half an hour at that time of day.

I don’t believe that my horoscope is very good for gambling while I’m there, but I didn’t choose the dates this time. Still, I rarely get lucky when I think I should be lucky. If astrology worked that way, I’d already be rich. On the other hand, the north node will be square my natal sun the entire time I’m there. Maybe that’s a sign of not-so-good Karma? I should look it up!

I do expect to be good company while I’m in Las Vegas because I’ll have several planets in my seventh house. What’s more, the new moon in Aries occurs while I’m there, and it is almost exactly conjunct Chiron. I have a feeling that this vacation will be good for my soul. In the meantime, however, it’s just nice to have something to look forward to.
