Star Struck Style

It should be no surprise that I’m already planning my next trip to Las Vegas. I can’t stop thinking of all the things that I didn’t get to do when I was there last week.

Anyway, the Black Friday flight deals are typically the best prices of the year. For that reason, I had a look at my ephemeris to ensure that no star-crossed aspects or annoying retrogrades are occurring on a day that I plan to book a vacation. I didn’t discover anything that would stop me from booking, like a Mercury station. However, I did notice that Venus will enter my first house on that day.

I suppose that’s a good thing! Black Friday is one of those days when deals are easy to find, and with Venus conjunct my ascendant, I could easily find myself buying a lot of things that I just don’t need. It’s the sort of aspect that has me rewarding myself for no reason in particular. I don’t really need another pair of designer sweatpants — or whatever happens to catch my eye that day. But if I spend my money on a plane ticket, it’s quite unlikely that I’ll spend any more of it on anything else that day. I’ll be content to make that my reward.

So, that’s what I’m going to do! And this time, I’m going to stay at the Bellagio just because I can. It’s a little more quiet and a little more elegant than most of the other Strip resorts.
