Changes (source: Let’s Talk Science)

I love this time of year! We had a touch of frost where I live, so now I can start to clean up my garden to get it ready for springtime. I won’t have to deal with mosquitos or annoyingly hot weather that leaves me feeling exhausted every time I go outside. Of all the seasonal changes, this one is my favorite.

I’ve got a lot of changes coming up in my horoscope over the next two weeks, too. Late this evening, Mercury slips into my twelfth house. On Saturday, Venus moves into my eleventh house after spending a very long time lingering in my tenth house. Next Wednesday, the sun joins Mars in my first house right around the time that Pluto goes direct in my fourth house. The next day, retrograde Jupiter slips back into my seventh house. Finally, Mercury makes a move into my first house the day before my vacation begins.

I’m looking forward to these changes, mostly because there will be a distinct shift to cardinality in my chart (even with Venus leaving my tenth house). I do possess a cardinal nature because I have my natal sun, my natal moon and my ascendant in cardinal signs. When the planets transit these signs, I tend to revel in my straightforwardness. I vacillate less and I just get things done.

To be honest, I’m already feeling like forging ahead and letting my instincts guide me (as they should when the cardinal signs and houses are emphasized in my horoscope). When Mars moved into my first house just over a week ago, I felt this seasonal shift occur. If it wasn’t for the fact that I caught a mild cold last week that kept me from hitting the ground running, I’d probably be getting ahead of myself.

But I don’t need to do that. I can take my time and just let these developments occur at their own pace. Mars might be urging me to get moving, but it isn’t really personalized in my chart like some other planets. It whispers suggestions to me, rather then screaming orders like it does to people who feel its influence more acutely.
