Star Struck Style

A few months ago, I got an email that my flight to Las Vegas had been rescheduled. The departure time was only about an hour different than the time it was originally scheduled, so I didn’t even think about it — until now, that is.

I already knew that I was leaving on a day when four planets would be simultaneously transiting my first house. What I discovered when I looked up the chart for my flight was that the sun will be at 22°22″ Libra at the time I am scheduled to leave. 22 + 22 = 44.

The reason that intrigues me is because when I went to Las Vegas in October two years ago, I saw the number 44 everywhere I went. It was uncanny! My hotel bill after the hundreds of dollars worth of comps I received was exactly 44 cents. The gate I departed from was #44. The cab that took me there was #44. Both of my flight numbers contained the number 44. And those are just a few examples. It was all so weird!

I sort of expected the number to have some significance, and now that I’m seeing it show up again I’m starting to believe that it will. Sure, I probably sound crazy when I start to see patterns form from random occurrences, but that’s sort of how astrology works. We stargazers notice when the same things happen over and over again, and then we try to predict when they’ll happen again.

So, I’m going to keep my eyes open just in case the universe is trying to tell me something. Slot machines are typically numbered in the casinos, so maybe there is a machine out there that is just waiting to pay me a jackpot. Or maybe some other life-changing event will occur while this number is making another curious appearance in my life.
