Star Struck Style

I’ve got a lot of things I want to do this week while I’m on vacation, and the voice in my head is already trying to talk me out of them.

With Jupiter ready to go retrograde as it forms an exact trine with my natal sun, I’m sort of feeling as if opportunity should come to me. However, that’s not how anything works. Jupiter’s favorable transits always make me believe that I can take the easy way out.

But I’m not going to let that happen! I’m up early to go to the dentist. I have to run an errand afterwards and then I’m going to come home to start on my yardwork odyssey. I’ve got a ton to do to get everything cleaned up. Then I’m going to wash the floors. Then I’m going to clean the bathrooms. Then I’m going do some yoga . . .

With my trip to Las Vegas just seven weeks away, I need to keep my eye on the prize. I need to work on my sense of self-discipline despite the other plans that Jupiter has for me. Venus returns to direct motion in my tenth house in about a week from now, and that might help me to restore my sense of direction. With my Libra ascendant, Venus seems to set the pace in my life. Right now, I’m feeling stuck in one place. I take one step forward and then one step back. I don’t mind taking a step back, but only when I’ve taken two steps forward. That’s the Capricorn way!

For me, moving forward means using my time off to take care of some chores before they get away from me. It’s an investment in my future, so that I can use that time for some rest and relaxation when I really need it. Otherwise, I engage in some pretty unhealthy behavior to deal with whatever is stressing me out. Don’t we all?

Anyway, I’ve already convinced myself that I need to get my shit together over the next couple of weeks. Now I just need to do it.
