Helplessness (source: pexels.com)

Mars forms an opposition with Neptune today and helplessness is in the air.

This alignment occurs every couple of years for a day or two. As “Café Astrology” explains it, it can make people eager to “to play victim or savior.” I believe that the former scenario is more likely than the latter.

However, in two days from now, Mars forms a trine to Pluto — an aspect that happens about once a year. This is an empowering position that encourages individuals to stand on their own two feet. For that reason, it’s important to give people the tools that they can use to improve their own situations. For the rest of the week, many of those people will actually be inspired to use them. As the sun moves from typically-gracious Leo to often-overcritical Virgo while these other events are happening, our reactions might be muddled. We can find ourselves wondering if we should help instead of just helping, especially with Mercury parked in the sky simultaneously.

But just help. Don’t overthink your reactions. When the universe sorts itself out in a few days, you’ll be glad that you did.
