I haven’t been blogging about “RuPaul’s Drag Race” that much lately. Like the “Real Housewives” shows, the idiocy of the fans on social media eventually turns me off of the prospect of providing commentary on my favorite shows. Also, seeing my astrological insights regurgitated almost verbatim on the sites of others is disheartening, to say the least. I was a successful fashion blogger for several years before I launched this blog, and I quit that because I couldn’t deal with people ripping me off every single day. Just because I give it away for free doesn’t mean it’s there to call your own. Get your own fucking shtick!

But enough about me! This post is about Jimbo, the first Scorpio queen to take the crown on the American stage of “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” If you’ve kept up with my previous posts about “Drag Race,” Scorpio has been the worst-performing sign of the zodiac through all fifteen regular seasons and all seven all-stars seasons of the show. Well, Jimbo and Kandy Muse put an end to that bad run by making it an all-Scorpio finale during “All Stars Season 8.”

I guess that means that both Aries and Libra now share the distinction of being the only two zodiac signs who have never worn the crown on the US version of the show. Aries natives have made it to the finale before (most notably two-time runner up Raven), and a Libra might have won “All Stars Season 3” if BenDeLaCreme hadn’t eliminated herself. Still, neither sign has actually taken the title on American soil.

If I had to choose who was doing the worst, I’d have to say that Libra is now the most-losing sign in “Drag Race” herstory, only because the three queens who have quit “All Stars” all share the same zodiac sign. Adore Delano, BenDeLaCreme and Heidi N Closet all seem to lend credence to the idea that Libra natives handle confrontation poorly. Internationally, I believe that only one Aries winner has been crowned so far (The Vivienne), so maybe I should consider the two signs to be tied for last place until someone comes along to change my mind.

Anyway, I might start publishing more posts about “Drag Race” in the future, or I might not. But if you’re one of those people who stumble across my blog and find yourself fascinated by what I’ve written, please drop me a line and interview me for your blog or invite me on your podcast (click the DO ME link at the top of the page for my contact information). I really could talk about this stuff all day long!
