Star Struck Style

In three months from today, I’ll be visiting Las Vegas again.

I can’t wait to go! I’ve been saving up a little money every pay day so that I’ll have lots to spend when I get there. I’ve bought a few nice things to wear while I’m on vacation, too. I’m a Capricorn; I like to plan ahead.

However, I haven’t been behaving like a Capricorn when it comes to my diet and exercise regimen. With tomorrow’s new moon occurring just a degree away from my Cancer midheaven in my tenth house, now is the time to get back into a more-disciplined routine.

I typically don’t worry so much about maintaining my good habits during gardening season because I get so much extra exercise in May and June just taking care of my yard. But now I’m entering that time of year when my yard starts to take care of itself. With less to do, I need to ensure that I’m not eating everything in sight, and that I’m not skipping workouts because of all the physical activity I get when I devote so much time to my garden.

So, I’m going to resolve to get back to my old routine in light of this powerful new moon. In three months from now, when I’m in Las Vegas, I don’t want to have to worry about how many drinks I’ve consumed or how many times I choose to waddle up to the buffet. I also want to try on clothes at the fancy stores I love to frequent without feeling as if I’m going to bust out of them. The sun enters my first house just a few days before my trip, so anything I can do now to ensure that I’m pleased with my self-image during my vacation is like an investment in my future.
