Tomorrow is Canada Day and I have a Saturday off from work!

I’m excited that the holiday is on a Saturday this year. When Canada Day lands on a Saturday, that means that Remembrance Day in November will also land on a Saturday. Saturdays are typically the craziest day at my place of work, so I look forward to any time I don’t have to go in on a Saturday. With the two weeks of holidays that I have booked this year, that means that I have four Saturdays off in the second half 2023!

Anyway, it’s a good day for a day off for everyone who doesn’t have to work. The sun and Mercury meet up in Cancer very late tonight, and they also form a sextile with Jupiter at almost the same time. The general mood should be jovial (especially with the moon in Sagittarius), and people should be feeling both sociable and communicative. Although Neptune’s station might cause a little confusion, that energy has been lingering in the atmosphere for a couple of weeks already. Whoever was confused before is still going to be confused for a little while longer.

Even if you’re not in Canada, try to get out and have some fun this weekend. Invite some friends over to look through old photo albums. Put on some music that reminds you of days gone by. Nostalgia can play a big role in how much you enjoy yourself while the planets are lined up in this manner. Just be a little careful when it comes to overindulging, especially if Neptune is parked in a part of your chart that already has you looking for an escape route at the bottom of a wine bottle.
