Venus is in my tenth house again and I’m preparing for an October trip to Las Vegas by saving my money — just like I was when I wrote this post two years ago. This time, however, Venus’ upcoming retrograde cycle will have it transiting that part of my chart right up to the time that I go away. Financially speaking, I should be in good shape when I go.

Everyone who knows me knows how much I like to spend money. It’s just not in my nature to pinch pennies. That’s why it’s so strange that I’ve actually put away a few dollars for my trip to Las Vegas in October. For some reason, it’s been easy for me to stick to a savings plan.

I suppose that I can attribute my financial prudence to Venus’ recent ingress into my tenth house combined with Saturn’s current station atop my natal Venus in the fourth house. Both aspects indicate caution when it comes to money.

Saturn is going to be parked in the same spot in the sky for a while, so I probably won’t feel compelled to dip into my savings when it retraces its steps throughout the summer. Venus is going to move out of my tenth house right around the same time that…
