In light of yesterday’s post about “the big picture,” it’s interesting that I wrote this post last year on this day where I declared that I would not “prevent myself from seeing the forest for the trees in the future.”

There are so many astrological techniques and traditions, it’s difficult to keep up with all of them. For that reason, I’ve never thoroughly investigated midpoints.
However, with Saturn virtually parked between my natal conjunction of Venus and Mars, I’ve been trying to figure out if I should pay attention to the “harmonized” interpretation for transiting Saturn conjunct the natal Venus/Mars midpoint vs. the individual interpretations for transiting Saturn conjunct natal Venus and transiting Saturn conjunct natal Mars.
I won’t bore you with the details by posting the interpretations of each aspect. I will say that I’m not experiencing the midpoint or the Mars conjunctions to the degree that I am experiencing the Venus conjunction. That makes sense because both Venus and Saturn are personalized in my horoscope: I’m a Capricorn with Libra rising.
