Star Struck Style

The fourth-month countdown to my Las Vegas trip begins tomorrow and I couldn’t be happier about it. Summer always feels like it’s over as soon as it begins for me, so waiting for my trip shouldn’t be as painful as it can be in the dead of winter. Nevertheless, I’m not going to wait this long to go away ever again. A year in between visits is just too long.

I had a look at my chart to see if anything remarkable is going to happen while I’m in Sin City. I am happy to be taking a vacation while the sun, Mercury and Mars are transiting my first house. Venus will moving through my eleventh house at the same time as Jupiter returns to my seventh house, which means I should be feeling both happy with myself and eager to be out and about with my friends.

However, I did make the mistake of looking at my friend’s chart. While things look just fine during the week of our trip, not long after we go away she will experience transiting Saturn conjoining her ascendant while transiting Mars will simultaneously conjoin her natal Jupiter. That’s a lot to take all at once! It reminds me of all the bullshit I had to deal with during the pandemic when my chart was so horrible.

Anyway, I’m not going to tell her about it unless she asks, and I’m certainly not going to tell her about it before we go on our trip. That’s something that can wait. Maybe I’ll let her know in four-and-a-half months . . .
