Bring on the Rain (source: bandcamp.com)

Spring was hot and dry in this part of the world. So I’m excited to see that there is a week of cool, rainy weather in the forecast for the first time this year. I wither in the heat, so this is exciting news for me.

Looking ahead at the new moon in my ninth house this weekend, I’m already encouraged to get out of my house. That’s a lot easier to do when I don’t loathe being outside.

The cosmic weather looks encouraging, as well. The sun moves into Cancer in a week from now. A few days after that, it makes its annual conjunction with my natal moon. Professionally speaking, the timing will be perfect for me as I’ll be essentially “introducing” myself to my new managers at work on the day of that conjunction. Since both were hired internally, I already have terrific relationships with them. Curiously, the interpretation for the transit on “Café Astrology” starts with the following sentence: “You can benefit now from a more confident manner and increased certainty about your goals in life.”

This all gives me something to look forward to over the next couple of weeks. I’m eager to do something other than watering my garden while wondering if I can stay outside without feeling as if I’m going to melt.

It’s nice to feel as if the universe is ready to cooperate with me . . .
