Later tonight, the sun will move within a one-degree orb to my progressed Jupiter. My progressed Jupiter is about two degrees ahead of my natal Jupiter. So, for the next five days or so, I should be noticing the effects of this annual configuration.
I believe that I’m there already. I’m up early feeling optimistic and ready to get out into the world. Looking back at previous posts on this blog, it’s typical for me to misbehave during this ninth-house transit. I shop too much and gamble too much when this happens. It doesn’t help that almost every online retailer is having a big sale this time of year. I’ve already purchased another pair of Tom Snyder sweatpants and half-a-dozen pairs of the fancy underwear I like to wear to the gym. On the bright side, I haven’t visited the casino yet.
One of the more interesting things that I’ve noticed over the past couple of weeks is that I’m feeling supported in a way that I haven’t felt for a long time. Staffing my department at work, for instance, hasn’t been as stressful as usual because the solutions to any problems that arise practically fall into my lap. I’ve been lucky in that respect. In fact, since Jupiter entered my seventh house in late March, my workplace has become somewhere I actually like to be again. I’m sure that the positive attitude I’ve adopted since my former manager walked out the door has something to do with that. The timing of that event corresponded almost exactly with Jupiter’s ingress into the part of my chart that rules over relationships with others.
I hope that these positive trends continue while Jupiter remains in my seventh house. I’m also hoping that the aforementioned conjunctions this week between the sun and Jupiter give me even more reasons to be optimistic about my future. Jupiter moves into my eighth house in late July and then moves back into my seventh house shortly before my trip to Las Vegas in October. It doesn’t return to my eighth house again until March next year, so I still have several months of this larger trend ahead of me. In the meantime, I need to enjoy the good feelings associated with this short-term aspect between the sun and Jupiter.
I need more of this in my life. More, more, more . . .
