Star Struck Style

My book is finally done. I decided to let it go yesterday. I was waiting for the Paris shows to finish just in case anything scandalous happened, but it was a fairly uneventful season. There were no big designer defections, or sudden deaths, or surprising announcements, etc.

So, I sent in the finished manuscript to CreateSpace yesterday. A couple of days before, I discovered the feature in MS Word that reads your work back to you in a robot voice. It helped me with my final copy-edit. I find it hard to believe that I can read something a thousand times over and still not realize that I’ve made mistakes. Hearing those mistakes out loud made them obvious. I probably didn’t catch everything, but if a few mistakes got through, big deal.

Now I have to wait for CreateSpace to get back to me. They do a review to ensure that it is fit to print. Then I guess it goes up for sale when I give them the word.

I was going to wait until Jupiter moved into Scorpio next week, but then I realized that both Venus and Mars are conjunct my natal Uranus/Pluto conjunction in my eleventh house. It’s an auspicious time for me to be putting something like this out into the universe.

Anyway, I’ll have some more updates in the next couple of days. In the meantime, why don’t you write down a list of all the people that you know who would be happy to receive a copy of my book for Christmas. That way, when it goes on sale you’ll exactly how many copies to order from amazon.com.
