Star Struck Style

The new year is just a few hours away. I haven’t made a new year’s resolution yet, but I’m planning on making one for when the new moon arrives in my third house on Sunday afternoon.

I feel as if I’m going to get off on the right foot in 2022. Venus and Mars will be travelling in tandem for much of February and March, and that should be good considering that Venus is my ruling planet. I need Mars to light a fire underneath me. Coincidentally, I was born at a time when Venus and Mars were conjunct.

On the topic of coincidences, when I decided to illustrate this post with an image of a shoe, I searched for this photo of a Bally trainer I bought a while ago, I haven’t had the chance to wear it that much because I’ve been stuck inside so much, but I’m looking forward to donning it again once the snow melts in this part of the world. Anyway, when I searched my blog to find it, I discovered that I featured it on the post that I wrote to discuss the last conjunction between Venus and Mars. How uncanny!

I’m going to take that as a sign that I’m already headed in the right direction. Since Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto moved off my IC, I’ve been telling myself that the only way to go is up. I guess that’s where I need to direct my focus in 2022. Perhaps my new year’s resolution just needs to be something as simple as adopting an onward and upward outlook. That jibes well with this Capricorn new moon, which also happens to be in a very close sextile to my natal Saturn. It makes me believe that it was no coincidence that I stumbled across the aforementioned post.

So, onward and upward it is! If anything changes before I implement this new plan in a couple of days from now, I’ll let you know.
