Priyanka (source: NOW)

Here’s a photo of Priyanka on “NOW Toronto” from just a few months ago. The magazine named her “Toronto’s Best Drag Performer” last year. They actually named me “Canada’s Best New Fashion Blogger” about ten years ago, so they obviously know what they’re talking about. I know, right?

After watching last night’s finale of “Drag Race Canada,” I was compelled to look up Priyanka’s zodiac sign. According to Fandom, she’s a Gemini who was born on May 28, 1991. That makes her barely a Gemini at all.

Why do I say that? Because she has a Sagittarius moon, Mercury in Taurus, Venus in Cancer, both Mars and Jupiter in Leo, Saturn in Aquarius, both Uranus and Neptune in Capricorn, and Pluto in Scorpio. I don’t know her rising sign, but maybe she’ll drop me a line and let me know what time she was born.

Anyway, that makes Priyanka the third Gemini winner of an English-speaking version of “Drag Race.” Raja and Violet share Priyanka’s sun sign.

In real life, I can go on all day long about how many shitty Geminis there are in the world right now. The Trump administration is about 45% Gemini natives, 45% Capricorn natives, and about 10% other signs. Of course, not every Gemini is a two-faced, self-dealing, compulsively-lying sack of crap, but plenty are. As her Gemini sister, Monique Heart, would likely say, “Facts are facts!”

If Priyanka gives off Gemini vibes at all it is in the way that she never really shuts up. She was the narrator of the debut season of “Canada’s Drag Race” for a reason, and that reason is her big mouth. It is interesting that she lived a “double life” for so long, because that is perfectly in character with her astrological makeup. I can’t really pass judgment on her for compartmentalizing her careers, though. I rarely tell anyone at the gym where I’ve worked for almost thirty years about my sideline as an astrological style expert because that typically involves explaining myself to them. I’d rather just go about my business without having to bother trying to sell myself to people who aren’t buying.

In that respect, I have something in common with Priyanka. The Gemini/Sagittarius axis in highlighted in both of our charts, so I wonder if that has something to do with it?

Again, to put all of this in context I would need to know Priyanka’s time of birth. Perhaps I should reach out to her before her sudden fame goes to her head, or until the COVID-19 travel restrictions are lifted. At the moment, it might be easier than I imagine to get a hold of some of these queens.

Stay tuned . . .
