August 18 is Gregg Leakes’ birthday.
Yesterday I published a post about Paul Kemsley and the husbands of the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” Today I discovered that Gregg Leakes is a Leo. That makes sense because he can be a little on the patronizing side when he talks to his Sagittarius wife, but his Sagittarius wife can also be a real battleaxe who needs a father figure in her life to urge her to keep it together when she starts to fly off the handle. However, that wasn’t the most interesting thing I stumbled across when I attempted to confirm his birthday.
A couple of days ago, Nene Leakes posted an early birthday greeting to her husband on Instagram where she mentioned that five of the husbands/partners on the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” have Leo as their sun sign.
I did know Todd Tucker’s sign, but I really didn’t know anything about the rest of the guys because they are all fairly recent additions to the franchise. Nevertheless, if I am to believe Nene’s Instagram post, Gregg (Nene), Todd (Kandi), Dennis (Porsha), Mike (Cynthia) and Marc (Kenya) all share the same zodiac sign.
The only thing weirder than that on any of the “Housewives” shows is the preponderance of Cancers on “Beverly Hills,” and the previous preponderance of Virgo women on RHOBH when the show debuted several years ago. What are the odds that almost all of the women on Atlanta would be partnered with Leo men?
Instagram is proving to be the place to confirm celebrity birthdays because I’m getting the information right from people in-the-know. It is making this “job” of mine so much easier because I don’t have to go down rabbit holes looking for obscure tidbits of information that are often incomplete or incorrect. What I really should do for the Leo birthdays is just lurk on the Instagram pages of the husbands themselves because I don’t know a single Leo who doesn’t like to blurt out birthday wishes to themselves. Most of them would rent a billboard to announce the big day if they could. I know, right?
Anyway, it’s just another thing for me to think about as I get my head into this new project. Things are beginning to take shape. What’s interesting to me is that my last book was finished during this time of year, so maybe I’m a better writer/editor when there are plenty of planets transiting Virgo. I guess I’ll find out this week when the planets start to march into the sign one by one . . .
