Mercury entered my eleventh house this morning where it will only spend a couple of weeks. It’s picking up speed and getting ready to catch up with the sun right around the time both planets enter Libra.
When I went looking for an image of Mercury to illustrate this post, I found the photo above with the accompanying caption:
“Mercury, or Hermes, the messenger god, was also called the logos (‘word’) in Greek because he interpreted divine intellect to humanity.”
I feel as if that’s my job, too. I am a conduit of divine intellect, here to share my wisdom with you mere mortals. Okay, I’m exaggerating, but while Mercury is in my eleventh house I should make an effort to up my social media game. This is a great time to get out there in order to reach a wider audience.
Like a lot of people, I experience a somewhat vacillating desire to “get out there.” One day I’m eager to be heard, and the next day I want nothing more than to be left to my own devices. I’m sure that Mercury cycles play a major role in one’s urge to have their voice recognized. It would be an interesting topic to study in greater depth if Mercury’s more-outgoing chart positions didn’t also cause me to be more superficial than usual and easily distracted.
Now, what was I talking about?

Mercury moves into my eleventh house this evening. It’s no surprise to me that this post I published a couple of years ago could have been written today.
